    1/2 cup margarine
    4 oz cream cheese - softened
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup finely chopped cooked chicken (or ground beef)
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 cup grated swiss cheese or medium or sharp cheddar cheese
    1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
    1/8 tsp ground thyme
    Cayenne pepper - tiny pinch


Cheese Pastry: cream margarine and cream cheese until smooth and light. Add flour. Mix until smooth. Shape into long roll. Mark off into 24 pieces. Cut. Press into small tart tins forming pastry shells.

Filling: Divinde chicken among shells, about 1 tsp each.

Put remaining ingredients into blender. Process until smooth, or beat in mixing bowl. Pour into shells. bake on BOTTOM shelf in 350 F oven for 20 to 25 minutes until set. Makes 24 quiche tarts.

NOTE: I made 12 small quiche and then two large tarts. The small quiche took 30 to 35 minutes to set and the larger tarts took approximately 45 to 50 minutes to set.
