    1 cup water
    1 1/4 cups milk
    1/2 cup hominy grits
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese, low fat
    1 T garlic powder
    2 T low cal margarine or butter
    2 t hot sauce
    1/2 t paprika


Heat water and milk to a boil, add grits and simmer 12-14 minutes. Stir in 2 tablespoons butter, cheese, garlic powder, hot sauce - a few dashes or a few teaspoons as you like it - and paprika.
