    2 cups oats
    1 chopped apple
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    4 cups water


Combine 2 cups oats, 1 chopped apple, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 4 cups water in your slow cooker. Cook on low overnight and sweeten to taste. Serves 4.

  • I will make this again and again. I used Quaker Old Fashioned oats, normal oatmeal. A 4qt crockpot is the perfect size, and I do recommend spraying the interior before cooking. 8 Hours was delicious but you could easily cook it less time. Each serving was a generous 1.25 cups. - 3/1/11

  • Made this last night, both my hubby and I loved it although I think 8 hours is too long maybe 6 and it won't stick to the side of the crock. Good otherwise and I love that it is ready when I get up. - 2/1/11
