Ingredients

    Mustard seed, yellow, 1 tsp (remove)
    Canola Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 large whole (3" dia) (remove)
    Raw Black-eyed Peas - 1 cup, 1 serving (remove)
    Spinach, fresh, 2 cup (remove)
    Raw Toor dal - 0.5 cup, 3 serving (remove)
    Onions, raw, 0.5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Jalapeno Peppers, 4 pepper (remove)
    *Cumin seed, 1 tbsp (remove)
    Ginger Root, 0.5 tsp (remove)
    Garlic, 0.5 tsp (remove)

Directions

Soak black-eyed peas in water for a couple of hours. Pressure cook dals with tomatoes and spinach. Keep aside
Heat oil, add chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste , jalapeno pepper paste and fry. Add cooked dals, powdered cumin and coriander powders and cook for few more min.
