    1 lb bulk Turkey Sausage (Spicy Italian)
    2 medium red onions, halved and sliced 1/4 inch thick
    1 can reduced sodium chicken broth (14.5 oz)
    1 box Ronzoni Smart Taste Penne Rigate (14.5 oz)
    3 cups packed fresh flat-leaf parley leaves
    1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


In a large nonstick skillet with high edges (or dutch oven) over med-high heat, cook sausage until browned breaking apart any large pieces with a wooden spoon (5 minutes). Reduce the heat to medium and add the onions (it will seem like a lot but will cook down). cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are carmelized (about 10-15 minutes). Add broth, cook until heated through 3-5 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the pasta according to instructions. Drain and add to the sausage. Stir well. Add Parley, and parmesan. Toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper as needed.
