Introduction

Cook shells in salted water, remove.

Brown lean beef, onions, and garlic in 1 tbsp of olive oil.

Combine egg, ricotta spinach, and ground beef mixture. Stuff into cooled shells.

Place a few spoonfuls of sauce in the bottom of an oven proof pan, place shells on sauce and pour the remainder of the sauce over the top of the shells.

Top with 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese.

    12 jumbo pasta shells
    8 oz ground beef lean
    1/2 cup diced onion
    2 cloves of garlic
    1 tbsp olive oil
    1tsp ground or 1 tbsp fresh oregano
    1 tsp ground or 1 tbsp fresh basil
    3/4 jar of Newman's marinara sauce
    1/2 package of frozen spinach thawed and drained
    1/2 cup of ricotta part skim cheese
    3/4 cup of cheddar cheese.
