Ingredients

1 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour
    1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
    Dash of salt
    1 3/4 cups 1% Milk
    3 Tbsps. Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup Egg Beaters or 1 large Egg (I used Egg Beaters and calculated recipe for that)
2 large Egg Whites, lightly beaten
    Cooking Spray
    1 large Yellow Delicious Apple
1 Tbsp. Excalibur Cinnamon Toast Seasoning (Cinnamon, Cocoa & Sugar Blend)

Directions

Yield: 8 (4 inch) waffles. Serving: 1 waffle.
Cook time: About 5-6 minutes per batch until golden brown.

1. Dice 1 (I used Yellow Delicious) medium apple into chunks. Put in small bowl in microwave & cook for 2 minutes. Meanwhile, lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups and level with knife. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, & cinnamon toast seasoning into a medium bowl; stir with a whisk. Combine milk, oil egg OR egg beaters, and egg whites in a small bowl; add to flour mixture, stirring until well blended.

2. Coat a waffle iron with cooking spray, and preheat. Spoon about 1/3 cup of batter into iron. Sprinkle some of the cooked apples (about 1/8) on top of batter. Cook 6 to 7 minutes until the steaming stops or until the lighted button on your waffle iron indicates it's done; repeat procedure with remaining batter and apples .

Top with your favorite syrup or whipped cream (neither are included in nutritional calculations.
