Number of Servings: 6


    1/2 an onion, chopped
    2 potatoes, cubed
    Two cans beets, julienned
    1/2 a cabbage, red or green ( I like green)
    Tomato Paste, 1 can
    Beef Boullion cubes, 3-4 to taste
    Dill, 3-4 tbsp to taste
    6 cups water
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    2 tbsp light sour cream to garnish


Put water on stove with boullion cubes. add potatoes, bring to boil and simmer. Julienne canned beets. Add tomato paste, onion, dill and beets, s&p to taste. Let simmer 205-30 minutes. Add cabbage during last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve with light sour cream.

Makes 6 huge bowls
