Introduction

Simple white beans. Using Great Northern or Navy beans makes a nice hearty meal when served with rice.

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2.5 cups of great northern beans
    1/2 stick of butter
    1 tbs season all
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 - 2 tbs garlic powder (depending on how much you like garlic)
    8-10 cups of water

    1 cup per serving (approximately)

Directions

Soak beans for 2 hours, Rinse

Add beans, and all other ingredients in to 8 quart pot. Bring to a boil, reduce and let simmer 1 1/2 hour or until done.

Great for a crock pot meal.

Serve over brown rice.

8 - one cup servings (approximately)
