    2/3 cup water (75-85 degrees or 24-30 C)
    3/4 cup mashed ripe banana
    2 Tblsps melted butter or margarine
    1 large egg
    3-1/4 cup bread flour
    3 Tblsps Sugar
    1-1/4 tsp salt
    2-1/2 tsp bread machine yeast
    1/2 cup chopped pecans


Attach the kneading blade in the bread pan. Place ingredients into the bread pan in the following order: water, banana, butter, egg, flour, sugar and salt. With finger make an indentation in flour. add yeast to indentation, making sure it does not come in contact with the liquid ingredients. Sprinkle nuts onto flour. Carefully insert bread pan into breadmaker and gently close lid. Set Menu for sweat bread, choose desired color, 1.5 loaf, and start. Makes one 1.5 lb loaf. Serves 24 (1 oz. per person)
