    Kirkland Extra Lean Ground Beef, 16 oz (remove)
    Chili powder, 4 tbsp (remove)
    *Green Bell Pepper (Whole Pepper), .25 serving (remove)
    *Bell Pepper, Red - 1 cup chopped, .25 serving (remove)
    *Onion - Yellow - 1/4 Cup, 1 serving (remove)
    *Rotel, 2.5 cup (remove)
    S&W Organic Tomato Sauce, 1.75 cup (remove)
    *Spices, Turmeric, 1 tsp (remove)
    *Garlic Powder, 1 tsp (remove)
    Basil, .5 tbsp (remove)
    Water, tap, 16 fl oz (remove)
    *Tomatoes, S&W Ready-cut diced tomatoes, 1.75 cup (remove)
    *1/2 tsp. Cumin Powder, 1 serving (remove)


Brown the meat in the pot you intend to make chili in (no need to drain fat if you used extra lean beef because there is no fat) as you are browning the meat, add the spices, onion and bell pepper. When the meat is browned, I run it thru the mixer to make it extra fine then add it back to the pot with the tomatoes, and tomato sauce & 1 can of water. Bring contents to a boil and then either serve immediately or let it get a bit cooler and thicker. I double the batch and then freeze it. Great meal with a kick I actually won a contest @ my husband's company with this recipe.
