My mother's recipe for tuna fish sandwiches. Simple recipe and easy to substitute ingredients to taste. Can be used for patty melts and such. My mother's recipe for tuna fish sandwiches. Simple recipe and easy to substitute ingredients to taste. Can be used for patty melts and such.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 5oz. Can light tuna in water
    3 tbsp Mayo
    4 tsp Mustard
    2 large eggs (boiled)
    2 tbsp pickle relish or dill relish
    1 tbsp paprika
    2 slices white bread
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Boil eggs first. Drain tuna and place in mixing bowl. Add other ingredients and mix with fork separating tuna. Chop eggs thoroughly and add to bowl. Mix well and season to taste. Spoon 2 tbsp of mixture onto bread and enjoy. Makes 3 - 5 sandwiches.
