Introduction
This is my mom's chocolate chip banana bread recipe. It is so easy and so delicious! If you want to cut even more calories leave out the chocolate chips. The nutritional information is based off 15 regular muffins, however this recipe can also be converted into mini muffins or bread. If your cooking mini muffins- preheat over to 400 degrees and bake for 15 to 18 minutes. For bread, set the oven to 350 degrees and bake for approximately one hour. Ingredients

2 ripe bananas
1/2 cup no sugar added applesauce
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup skim milk
2 medium eggs
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
In a blender or food processor, combine bananas and applesauce. Process for 20 seconds or until combined.
Add flour, sugar, milk, eggs, lemon juice, baking soda, and salt. Process for 10 seconds.
Add chocolate chips. Pulse until mixed well.
Grease muffins/cupcake pans and pour batter up to the halfway point of a muffin/cupcake pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes. To check: stick a toothpick in the middle of the muffin. When the toothpick comes out clean, muffins are done.
Makes approximately 15 medium sized muffins.
