Ingredients

    3 medium potatos
    3 c. nonfat milk
    2 T. margarine
    1 small onion
    Red Pepper Flakes
    3 T. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 c. diced ham
    1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

Peel and cut potatos into cubes. Boil potatos until tender, reserving 1 c. of the cooking water. Drain rest of water from potatos. In the pan, melt margarine over medium heat, add onion and cook until it is translucent, add red pepper flakes and black pepper to taste, add flour. Slowly add potato water and milk and keep stirring to break up onion mixture on bottom of pan. Add potatos, ham and cheese. Simmer slowly for 20-30 minutes.
