Introduction

Ingredients

    Ground turkey, 93% lean, 1 lb.
    Salsa, 1 cup
    Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style, 1/2 cup
    Egg Beaters, 1/4 cup
    Skim Milk, 1/2 cup
    Sargento reduced fat 4 Cheese Mexican, 1/2 cup
    Black pepper, 1 tsp
    Onion powder, 1 tsp

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a 9-inch loaf pan with foil and/or spray with Pam.
2. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, making sure dry and wet ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the turkey.
3. Pour mixture into loaf pan and pat down until top is fairly flat.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 45-50 min. Allow to cool slightly before slicing so cheese isn't runny.
5. Makes four 2.25-inch slices.

This recipe is very customizable! Feel free to add red pepper or chili powder for more spice, or more veggies like corn and green peppers.
