Ingredients

    • 1 4 oz. container of strawberry nonfat yogurt
    • 1 cup frozen strawberries
    • 1 cup frozen blueberries
    • 1 cup frozen cherries
    • 2 cups orange juice
    • 1 cup fruit punch Gatorade

Directions

Purée all ingredients in a blender until smooth.



Makes 4 servings.

    Leave out the Gatorade! No need to add artificial junk food to an otherwise healthy drink. I use orange juice or skim milk, along with a scoop of vanilla soy protein powder (trader joes is great). Great power drink to start your day strong. - 11/15/09

    Looking at all the natural ingredients...why would you ruin it with a bottled drink???? I keep it natural and would add fiber powder as well as protein powder. - 10/7/09

    I mis read the recipe and put 14 oz of yogurt in it instead of 4 oz. Was smooth and yummy! Kid friendly too. My husband HATES yougurt but drank this down faster than I could blink. Even HE liked it! - 3/14/09

    Why the Gatorade with all its calories? I agree that it needs more protein. So added protein powder, more yogurt, & subbed lime juice for Gatorade. - 11/6/09

    While a little high on carbs, Gatorade adds some nutrients not found in flavored water or extra skim milk. After all, this is a snack. It's not something you would be drinking four times a day. Everything in moderation makes this a great change. If U add fiber and protein, change the caloric values. - 11/25/09

    Since the yogurt comes in a 6oz container I just poured the whole thing in. And instead of OJ and Gatorade I used the Crystal Light water flavoring (Sunrise Orange and Fruit Punch) in bottled water as a substitute. Turned out great! Made 6 Cups and each cup was only 50 calories! - 9/17/10

    Sounds GREAT! I can't wait to try it. I'm allergic to bananas, so I can't just go out and get a smoothie from anywhere, and I rarely see smoothie recipies that I find exciting. THIS one, however, I cannot WAIT to try! :D - 10/27/09

    Orange juice is very over powering... I cut it down to one cup orange juice, 1 cup water ( no Gatorade). And that still seemed like too much for my taste. I could hardly taste the fruit. Trying to salvage it, I added more fruit and yogurt (did a double batch) and another cup of water. It was nice an - 7/8/18

    I make these smoothies quite a lot but I had protein to mine as I have had weight loss surgery 5.5 yrs ago. I do love them ! I think I would opt for skim milk or peach flavored water before using Gatorade though. - 9/17/11
