    1.5 lbs venison, cubed
    1 pkg McCormick Au Jus gravy mix
    3 C cold water (for Au Jus mix)
    1 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
    3/4 C canned mushroom slices

    Season venison as desired before and/or during browning. I used a little Worcestershire sauce, cajun seasoning, garlic and onion powder. ***Nutrition info does not include seasonings or pasta, etc.***


Brown venison in 1tbsp EVOO. While browning, mix Au Jus mix per directions. Add to browned meat and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 60 minutes. Remove cover and simmer another 30 minutes or until gravy gets to desired consistency. Serve with whole wheat pasta, brown rice or mashed potatoes.
