Introduction

This is a take off of a family recipe used with hamburger and cream of mushroom soup. It is a great source of comfort on cold evening and even better served the next day. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 sm/med Potatos sliced
    1 lb Ground Turkey (93/7)
    1 Cup Chopped Celery
    1 Cup Chopped Onion
    1 Can Campbells Cream of Celery Soup
    1/2 Cup Milk
    2 Tsp Tarragon
    1 Tsp Marjoram
    1 Tsp Rosemary
    1 Tsp Parsley
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    Crisco cooking spray
    2 Tbsp Grated Parmesean Cheese (optional)

Directions

In a medium sauce pan brown turkey, add celery and onion, saute until tender (about 5 minutes). Stir in Cream of celery soup and spices. In the meantime, peel and slice potatoes.

Spray bottom of meduim casserole dish with cooking spray. Cover bottom of dish with potatoes (1 1/2) then add 1 third of turkey mixture, add another layer of potatoes, then mixture. Continue until mixture is gone, top with layer of potatoes. Pour 1/2 milk over top, sprinkle with Parmesean cheese.

Bake at 400 for 1 hour or until sides are bubbly and cheese has browned. Let rest for 20 minutes before serving.
