This is a great way to get everyone in your house to eat healthy. This is a great way to get everyone in your house to eat healthy.
Number of Servings: 8


    1/2 lb of ground lean turkey
    1/2 lb of ground lean beef
    1/4 cup of grated raw carrot, about 1 small
    1 small onion chopped
    1 can diced tomatoes with oregano, basil and garlic, drained
    1 large egg, whisked
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp onion powder
    1/2 cup plain or italian style bread crumbs
    1 baby zucchini or yellow squash, grated
    2 Tbsp. ketchup
    salt and pepper to taste


This is the easiest recipe ever: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put all the ingredients except the ketchup into a large bowl. Now get your hands into the mixture and combine all the ingredients until you see that it has all combined and distributed evenly. Put all of the mixture into a bread loaf pan evenly distributing the mixture and make the top a dome shape. Take your hand and go around the edge of the pan with your fingers creating a gap between the meat mixture and the sides of the pan. Top the meatloaf with ketchup and bake for approximately 45 minutes or until the meatloaf is firm to the touch. Remove from oven and pour off any fat that has formed in the gap that you created and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving. Recommend serving with a leafy salad like spring mix with some lemon juice. This meatloaf serves 2 slices per person for a family of 4.
