    * 2 tbsp butter
    * 1 medium onion, diced Onions
    * 2 garlic clove, minced
    * 1 lb orzo pasta
    * 4 3/4 cups chicken broth
    * 1 cup frozen peas
    * 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
    * Salt and pepper to taste


Melt butter over medium high heat in a large pot. Saute onions for 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 15 seconds.

Add orzo and brown for 5 minutes. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat to a simmer.

Simmer on low for 15 minutes until liquid is absorbed. Stir in peas and parmesan. Turn off heat and cover. Let the orzo sit for 5 minutes to let the peas warm up. Add salt and pepper to taste.
