Number of Servings: 10


    1/2 bag of dried black Beans, black
    3/4 cup of Brown Rice, long grain
    2 packets of Goya, Sazon con cilantro y tomate
    1 qt of veggie stock
    1 cup of diced red bell Peppers
    1 cup of diced Onions, raw,
    5-6 minced Garlic cloves
    1 small can of diced green chiles
    2 diced serano chile
    1 cup Yellow Sweet Corn, Frozen,
    1/3-1/2 cup Panko Bread Crumbs- Iron Chef - Garlic
    2 egg whites
    Cumin, cilantro, chili powder and lime zest to taste


Place beans, rice, stock, and sazon in a slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours. Let mixture cool. Use a potato masher and mash. Saute peppers, onions, garlic, and chile until tender. Allow to cool and add to beans. Add thawed frozen corn and the remainder of the ingredients and mix. Form into 10 patties and bake @ 400 for 30-45 minutes.
