Ingredients

    2 cups self-raising flour
    2/3 cup cream
    2/3 cup lemonade

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 225 degrees celsius (or 205 if fan-forced)
2. Sift flour into a mixing bowl.
3. In a smaller mixing bowl, stir cream and lemonade together
4. Add cream and lemonade mixture to the flour
5. Fold ingredients together until combined. Try not to over stir the mixture as this will make the scones less fluffy.
6. When all combined, turn dough out onto floured surface
7. Pat down to 3.5 cm thickness and use a 5 cm cookie cutter to cut the scones
8. Repeat step 7 until there is no mixture left
9. Place scones onto a lightly floured baking tray so they are just touching
10. Put in oven for 12-15 or until the scones spring back when pushed down on top
