    2 cans chickpeas, drained
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/4 cup olive oil
    1 cup water
    salt and pepper
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 tbsp flour


In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat, then cook the onion until some pieces are turning brown, 4 to 5 min. Add the drained chickpeas and water. Season with salt and pepper. Cook 5 min.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice and flour until well blended and smooth. Add the water and stir all into the chickpeas. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the water is nearly evaporated and the sauce is thickened. Serve at room temp or warm.
