Ingredients

    1/2 cup sugar
    3/4 cup light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup reduced fat chunky peanut butter
    6 cups corn flakes

Directions

Heat sugar, syrup and salt in small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves and liquid dripped from spoon starts to thicken. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Stir until mixed and then pour over corn flakes in a large bowl. Mix well and press into a 9" x 14" greased pan. Store in air tight container. Makes 32 squares.

  • I make this with honey and natural peanut butter, substituting Kashi 7 grain flakes (I can't eat corn!) and it's delicious! It's almost dangerous!! Using the Kashi increases the fiber and protein. - 6/4/08
