Ingredients

1/2 pound linguine
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
Directions
Cook linguine in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1 cup liquid.
Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until golden, approximately 1 minute. Add lemon zest and cook 20 seconds more. Remove from heat.
Add linguine to skillet mixing to combine with garlic and lemon and return it to medium heat; mix in parsley. Add 1/2 cup pasta liquid and lemon juice.
Season with salt and pepper. Toss until heated through, adding more liquid as necessary to keep moist.
