Makes 10 cups for freezing so you can have sauce ready any time! Makes 10 cups for freezing so you can have sauce ready any time!
Number of Servings: 10


    1 lb. italian sausage
    1.5 c. finely chopped onion
    1 12-oz can tomato paste
    5 15-oz can tomato sauce
    1 c. water
    4 cloves garlic, chopped
    4 bay leaves
    2 T. sugar
    4 t. basil
    2 t. oregano
    4 T. parsley
    4 t. salt


Brown the sausage with the onion and drain. Add the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours. Simmering can be done in a crockpot of desired. Freeze in separate containers in 1 or 2 cup amounts. Great for french bread pizza and any pasta dishes.
