Number of Servings: 4


    2 C. Brown Rice
    4-5oz Beef sirloin steaks
    1/2 tsp seasoning salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1/2 C. green pepper
    1/2 C. red pepper
    1/2 C. yellow pepper
    1- medium onion
    2 tablespoons flour
    1/3 cup soy sauce
    2 tablespoons parsley (optional)


Prepare rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking sprinkle steaks with salt and pepper. Brown steaks in hot oil in large non-stick skillet over medium high heat 2 minutes on each side or until done; remove and keep warm.

Saute onions and bell peppers in same skillet.

Blend together flour, soy sauce and 1 C water; pour over onions and bell peppers. Cook and stir until sauce boils and thickens. Spoon sauce over steaks; sprinkle with parsley. Serve over 3/4 C Rice. 4 servings
