Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 tomatoes, halved
    2 cloves garlic
    dash of salt
    juice of 1/2 lime
    1/2 c water
    2 tbsp oliveoil
    1 tsp cilantro

Directions

Take all ingredients, except for the olive oil and water and put into a blender. Pulse until chunky. Add water and pulse until a little less chunky.

Heat up a skillet on low heat with olive oil in it, pour in blended mixture. Stir slowly until hot.

This is just the basis for a saucy salsa, I have been known to add jalapenos or serrano peppers, ground chipotle or even beer to create a different flavor. I have a friend that prefers to boil the tomatoes first.
