    2 pints grape tomatoes
    2 cloves garlic
    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    1/2 package orriechette pasta, cooked al dente
    10 leaves fresh basil, chopped
    1 cup grated parmesan cheese


Preheat oven to 425 degrees.

Cook pasta according to package directions. Before draining, reserve 1/2 cup cooking water.

Place tomatoes on cookie sheet. Grate garlic over top, drizzle on olive oil, and add some salt and pepper to taste. Roast for 8 minutes, or until tomatoes start to burst.

Place tomatoes in large bowl, add reserved cooking liquid and mash tomatoes lightly with a fork or potato masher. Add basil, drained pasta and parmesan cheese and toss.
