Ingredients

    400g tin of chickpeas rinsed and drained
    1/2 grated onion
    small courgette/zucchini grated
    1tsp chives
    1 egg
    1 slice wholemeal bread
    2 tbsp olive oil

Directions

Serves 2

1-Mash chick peas with a fork

2-Grate onions and squeeze out all the moisture. Mix with the courgette/zucchini and chick peas

3-Crumble the bread, beat egg and mix them in a SEPERATE bowl. THEN mix with the other ingredients-the mixture SHOULD feel very stiff.

4-Form into four patties; heat oil in a pan and fry. Cook for about 5 minutes each side.
