    3 lbs skinless chicken breast
    1 pkg dry Italian dressing mix
    1 10 3/4 oz can 98% Fat Free cream of chicken soup (could also use cream of mushroom or others)
    4 oz can mushrooms, drained
    8 oz fat free plain yogurt (or fat free sour cream)


Place Chicken in slow cooker
Mix together everything but the yogurt and spoon over chicken
Coon on low 6-8 hours
With a slotted spoon, lift chicken out of cooker and keep warm.
Combine cooking juices with yogurt in slow cooker, cover and warm through.
When ready to serve place chicken on bed or rice or whole wheat past and pour sauce over top.

  • This sounds great! I bet if you used a substitute for the canned cream of chicken soup (we used a recipe from Recipezaar -
    te-for-Cream-of-Chicken-Soup-18157 - a while back to make some and it's pretty great!) it could be even lower sodium!

    I'm trying to use the stuff I've got in the pantry before I start making substitutes, but I'm sure that's true.

    Please note, that the nutrition info has been updated - for some reason when I put in the 3 pounds of chicken this morning it only counted 3 breasts, not 3 pounds.
