Introduction

Tastes like the crust at a good pizzaria!
This recipe freezes well! Just roll/strech out dough before freezing.
I like to use my homemade "Tomato Sauce w/ Brandy" as pizza sauce. Please see my other recipes if you too would like to try this sauce (Click my name link above).

*note: nutritional info is for dough only.

Ingredients

    1 3/4 tsp - Splenda, granulated
    5/8 tsp - Salt
    2 cups - All-Purpose Flour
    1 1/2 tsp - Yeast, rapid rise
    1 3/4 tsp - Oregano
1 3/4 tsp - Basil, chopped (I like to use freeze dried)
    2/3 cup - Warm Water
    2 tbsp - Olive Oil
    3/4 tsp - Minced Garlic

Directions

1) In a mixer, fitted with a dough hook, combine all ingredients. Mix on low until well combined. Knead on medium-low for 5-10 minutes until dough is stretchy and smooth to the touch.

2) Cover bowl with damp cloth and let rise in a warm place for 10 minutes.

3) Coat pizza pan with cooking spray, spread dough. Top with sauce, toppings and cheese. Bake at 450° for 15-20 minutes, or until nicely browned. Slice pizza into six slices.

*If you would like to make individual serving pizzas, separate the dough into 6 evenly sized balls before allowing dough to rise. Then strech each ball out individually. Reduce cooking time by half.

Serving size is 1 slice (or 1 personal pizza).
