Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

1 cup black beans (or any other kind of beans) drained.
    1 cup oats
    3/4 cup self-rising flour
2 egg replacers - the ones I use are powdered
    1 Tbspn "Liquid Smoke"
    1 Tbspn Olive Oil
100ml or half a cup red wine
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp brown sugar
    1/2-1 tsp chili powder (optional)

Directions

In a large mixing bowl, smoosh the ingredients all together with a fork, knead it and form 4 patties. If the mixture is a bit wet add a spoon or so of flour; a bit dry, add a spoon of wine.

For added zest, add 1/2 to 1 tsp chili powder.

Fry the burgers in a little vegetable oil at a low temperature about 5-7 minutes per side with a lid on top to keep the heat/moisture in.

Top them with loads of vegetables and serve in a hamburger bun or eat them all on their own!
