    1/4 cup lime juice
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 tablespoons tequila or lime juice
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    1/2 ground red pepper (cayenne)
    2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    2 pounds round steak


Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Poke steak with fork on both sides. Put Tequila marinade in shallow nonmetal dish or resalable plastic bag. Add beef, turning to coat with marinade. Cover dish or seal bag and refrigerate, turning beef occasionally, at least 6 hours but no longer than 24 hours.
Remove beef from marinade; reserve marinade. Cover and grill beef 4 to 5 inches from MEDIUM heat 20 to 25 minutes for medium doneness, brushing occasionally with marinade and turning once. Discard any remaining marinade. Serve with 1 cup fresh tomato salsa, 1/2 cup sour cream, and avocado dip if you like.
