Ingredients

    2 cups unbleached flour
    1-1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup sweetener ( I used 1/2 brown sugar and 1/2 maple syrup)
    1/3 cup unsweetend apple sauce
    4 ripe bananas
    1/4 cup water
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (I used much less because my kids ate most of them before I got to them :)
    1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions

preheat oven to 350
mix flour, baking soda, and salt together
beat sweetner and apple sauce
add bananas and mash
stir in water and vanilla mix
add flour mixture and chips, mix well
lightly greese muffin tins and fill each about half way
bake at 350 for 40 mins or until they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
