Introduction

I love making chili. This is made from all natural ingredients, and absolutely delicious. Great Crockpot recipe. I love making chili. This is made from all natural ingredients, and absolutely delicious. Great Crockpot recipe.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup Pinto Beans (Dry)
    1 cup White Beans (Dry)
    1 can Natural Stewed Tomatoes
    1 Medium Onion, Chopped
    1 Garlic Clove
    1/2 cup Chopped Green Pepper
    1 t Chili Powder
    1 t Crushed Red Pepper
    1 t Dry Basil
    A dash Sea Salt
    3 cups Hot Water

Directions

Soak beans overnight in stock pot.
Boil them for 2 minutes, let soak for about 30-60 minutes, rinse and add to crockpot. Add water.
Mince garlic, chop onion and green pepper, add to pot along with Spices and Stewed Tomatoes.
Cook on High for 4 hours.
OR
Cook on Medium for 6-8 hours.

** To make beans softer: after boiling and rinsing, you can add water back to the stock pot and simmer for another 20-30 minutes before adding to crockpot.
