    Country Choice Oats, Old Fashioned, 1/2 cup
    Water 1/4 cup
    *Horizon Organic Fat Free Milk, 1/2 cup
    Sargento Light Ricotta, 2 Tbsp
    Blueberries, fresh, 1/4 cup
    Flaxseed, 1 tbsp
    *Natural Turbinado Sugar, 1 Tbsp


Mix Oats, water and milk and microwave for 2 minutes. Then stir in Ricotta cheese, flaxseed, and sugar. Gently fold in fresh blueberries (if using frozen, after microwaving when you blend in blueberries let oats sit for 1-2 minutes to defrost blueberries).

  • Although I substituted greek yogurt for ricotta (which I didn't have), this will be on our rotation. Very easy for a quick breakfast, great for when everyone's not up at the same time. Will also try just putting it all in the fridge the night before, for a cold breakfast in the summer. - 4/2/11
