Introduction

Don't have a smoker? Local Q too expensive or just plain not that great? Here's your alternative! Don't have a smoker? Local Q too expensive or just plain not that great? Here's your alternative!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    - Pork roast (I used Boston Butt)
    - Jar of whole jalapenos (use 5 peppers and 1/3 jar of juice)
    - 5 cups of homemade chicken stock (fill rest with water)
    - 1 whole yellow onion chopped into discs

Directions

Makes 4 servings (give or take)

Cook on low overnight or all day. When the meat is easily pulled apart, you're good.

Pull the meat out onto a cutting board and pull apart using a couple of forks.

Put the pulled pork into your oven on the lowest temperature setting for about an hour, turning occasionally. This dries it out to the consistency of BBQ.

Dress the Q appropriately with your favorite sauce, vinegar, mustard, or not at all (it's good even without sauce) and enjoy!
