These are very creamy mashed potatoes These are very creamy mashed potatoes
Number of Servings: 6


    6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into i inch squares
    2 teaspoons salt
    1.5 Sticks unsalted butter, melted
    1/4 - 1/2 cup half and half cream, warmed


Place potatoes and salt in medium saucepan and cover with cold water. Heat to boiling over medium-high heat. When water reaches a boil turn heat down to medium-low and simmer for 20 minutes, or until potatoes are fork tender.

Drain potatoes and return to hot pan. Using an electric hand mixer on medium-high, mash potatoes until slightly lumpy. Add hot melted butter and mix on medium-low speed untill mostly smooth. With a large spoonula, Slowly and gently add warm half and half untill potatoes are smooth and creamy.

Add salt and peppar to taste.
