    Broccoli ingredients
    4 cups broccoli florets
    1 cup broccoli stalks sliced
    3 tbsp water
    2 tbsp olive oil
    salt and pepper

    Butter Sauce
    4 tbsp unsalted butter
    1.5 tbsp shallot
    3 cloves minced garlic
    .5 tsp thyme leaves
    .5 oz lemon juice
    salt and pepper


Serves 4, Serving size 1 cup plus

Brocolli Preperation
Add oil over medium heat and cook stalk slices about 2 minutes until browned. Add florrets and toss to combine cook 2 more minutes. Add water and cover pan, cook another 5 minutes. Uncover pan and cook 2 more minutes until the water has evaporated.

Butter Sauce Preperation
Transfer the broccoli to a medium bowl. Melt the butter in the pan until it begins to brown about 1 and a half minutes.
Off the heat stir in the shallots, garlic and stir about 1 minute. Add the lemon juice and thyme and stir about 1 minute. Add the broccoli and stir to combine, sserve immediately.
