Love this in the slow cooker! Love this in the slow cooker!
Number of Servings: 6


    2 lbs of Stewing beef
    1/4 cup of flour
    1/2 tsp of salt
    1/2 tsp of pepper
    1-1/2 cups of beef soup base
    1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp minced garlic (1 clove)
    3 potatoes
    4 carrots
    1 onion
    1 celery stalk
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup frozen beans


Mix meat, flour, salt and pepper in the slow cooker.
Chop all vegetables and add to the above.
Mix beef oxo with water and add Worcestershire Sauce, bay leaf, and garlic. Add to the crock pot.
Stir well and cover. Cook on High for 4-6 hours [Low for 8-10].
1 hour before it is finished, add the frozen peas and bean. Recover to cook for remaining time.
Excellent served with homemade biscuits.
