    2 lbs beef honeycomb tripe
    2 large red potatoes, diced
    1 cup mushrooms, diced
    1 cup carrot, grated
    1 cup red bell pepper, grated
    1 cup zucchini, grated
    1 cup onion, grated
    maggi chicken boullion
    salt and pepper to taste


Cut cleaned tripe into potholder sized pieces.
Bring tripe to a boil, add spices and boullion. Then let simmer for one hour.
Grate all vegetables except for potatoes and mushrooms.
Chop potatoes and mushrooms into small pieces.
Remove tripe, let stand.
Add all vegetables to broth.
Cut tripe into thin strips no longer than 3", add to soup.
Simmer another hour.
Season as necessary to taste.

  • i wont rate because this is not polish tripe soup!.....polish tripe soup is beef bullion and tripe.Plz stop calling food "polish " if you have no idea what polish food is - 3/13/14
