Introduction

Chop and store mushrooms and onions in advance to cut down on prep time in the morning. Adding Turmeric will add colour to egg whites. Chop and store mushrooms and onions in advance to cut down on prep time in the morning. Adding Turmeric will add colour to egg whites.

Ingredients

    1/2 cup cooking onion, diced
    1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
    1 tsp garlic, diced
    6 Tbsp egg white

Directions

Serves 1

Heat small skillet on high for 1 minute. Reduce heat to medium and spray with cooking spray. Saute onion 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms, saute 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add garlic, saute & stir one minute. Add combination of spices to your taste. (eg. salt, pepper, thyme, chives, parsley, ginger, coriander, nutmeg. basil) Mix egg whites with a bit of turmeric if desired. Add egg whites to onion, mushroom, garlic mixture and scramble until done.

Multiply recipe as needed.
