Introduction

Ingredients

    3 lbs. Kielbasa Sausage, casing removed. Halved and cut into 1/2 pieces
    1 Large Yellow Onion, diced fin
    5 (15 oz) cans Slice White Potatoes
    2 (12 oz) bags Frozen French Cut Green Beans, thawed
    1 stick of butter
    1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
    1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
    1/2 Teaspoon White Pepper

Directions

Bring diced onion and 2 cups water to a boil in 6 quart Pot. Reduce heat and simmer until onions are clear. Add sausage and simmer for 2 hours until liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup. Add pototoes and liquid. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1/2 hour.

Saving the liquid in a large bowl, strain potatoes, sausage and onion and return to pot, off heat. Set liquid aside. Stir in green beans. In an extra large skillet melt butter on medium-high heat. When butter is melted add 1/2 flour and cook untill dark golden brown (do not burn). Slowly stir in reserved liquid and 1 cup whipping cream. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and stir constantly until sauce thickens into a thin gravy. Add pepper. Stir sauce in with vegetables. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve 1 cup portions. Serves 20
