    2 lbs beef chuck roast, trimmed
    1 - 12oz bottle of dark beer
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 large stalks celery, sliced
    2 cups carrots, sliced
    3 medium potatoes, cubed
    7 cups water
    7 tsp vegetable base or 7 beef bouillion cubes
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    parsely to taste
    2 bay leaves
    pepper to taste
    rosemary leaves to taste
    marjoram leaves to taste


Combined all ingredients into slow cooker set on high for 6 hours. Stir every 30-60 minutes.
