Introduction

This is a family recipe from my husband's grandma. It is a very tasty dish. This is a family recipe from my husband's grandma. It is a very tasty dish.

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean Ground ham
    1 lb. sausage
    1 lb. extra lean hamburger
    1 c. cracker crumbs
    1 c. skim milk
    2 large eggs beaten

    Sauce:
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. diluted vinegar (diluted vinegar is 1/4 c. vinegar
    and 1/4 c. water)
    1 T. powdered mustard

Directions

Combine meats, cracker crumbs, milk , and 2 eggs together. Form mixture into balls and place in baking dish. (Use an ice cream scoop) Mix and beat and heat sauce ingredients in a pan until sugar and mustard are dissolved. Pour over meatballs and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Makes a 9 x 13 pan full (18 balls or servings)
