    2.5 lbs. lean ground beef
    1 cup onion, chopped
    .75 cups ketchup
    2 cups water
    2 tbsp Worcester sauce
    .25 tsp ground mustard
    1 tsp paprika
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 tbsp corn starch (or flour if preferred)
    .5 cups cold water


Brown ground beef. Drain (if necessary). Add all other ingredients except the corn starch, .5 cups cold water, and noodles. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add corn starch to cold water and stir to dissolve. Add it to the goulash. Heat for approximately 2 minutes or until as thick as desired. Serve over cooked egg noodles (any other noodle, rice, or cous cous works too). Makes approximately 8 1.5 cup servings.
