    Cooking-oil spray
    1 cup regular rolled oats
    1/3 cup oat bran
    3 tablespoons flax seeds
    1 cup whole-wheat flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup sunflower seeds
    1/2 cup dried cranberries
    1/2 cup finely chopped dried Mission figs
    1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
    3/4 cup natural chunky peanut butter
    1/4 cup low-fat milk
    1 large egg
    1/2 cup honey
    Finely shredded zest from 1 lemon
    1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice


Line 9x13 pan with plastic wrap, leaving some plastic over the edges. Coat plastic with cooking spray.

Mix all ingredients through chocolate chips in large bowl. Mix all other ingredients separately in bowl with electric mixer. Add flour mixture to wet ingredients and mix.

Put dough into pan. Refrigerate for 30 min until dough is firm.

Preheat oven to 300 F. Turn firm dough onto cutting board and cut into 20 pieces (4 x 5). Place bars onto sheet pan about .5" to 1" apart. Bake for approximately 20 minutes. Bars will keep for 2 weeks in refrigerator or can be frozen.
