    1 lb ground turkey (extra lean)
    1 onion, diced
    1/2 cup tomato sauce
    1 can diced tomato (do not drain)
    1 cup instant brown rice
    1 cup water
    1 head, finely sliced cabbage
    1 cup Mozzarella (part skim) or Cheddar (2%) Cheese


Add sliced cabbage to the bottom of a 9X13 lightly greased baking pan.

Brown the ground turkey and onion. Bring the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, rice and water to a boil. Once at a boil, add meat mixture.

Pour over cabbage, top with cheese, and cover with tin foil.

Bake at 325 for 30 minutes.
