    1lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. lean ground pork
    l medium onion
    2 stalks celery diced
    2 tsp. diced garlic
    1 green pepper chopped
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    2 tbls. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt and dash of black pepper
    1 (340ml) can V8
    1 can Heinz Tomato soup (10 oz/284ml)
    1 can diced Tomatoes (19oz/340 ml)
    1 can red kidney beans (19 fl oz/540ml)
    1 can (19 oz) beans in Tomato sauce (398ml)
    Shredded cheddar or cheese choice (optional)


Brown meant in dutch oven, drain off excess fat. add next 4 ingredients, cook until they are a bit soft then add V8 and spices. Cook for approx. 15 min. more then add tomatoes, soup and kidney beans(rinsed). Bring to a boil then simmer for another hour or until done. Stir occasionally.
Serve with shredded cheese and over a bed of rice if desired.
